Reflection's of Life

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Denard Jackson, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, at the age of 55 on July 10, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.

Victor Denard Jackson was born on November 19, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan to Roosevelt Jackson and Robbie Jean West. He was the eldest of two siblings, with a younger brother, and a younger sister.

Victor accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and married at Belmont Avenue Baptist Church under the pastorage of Dr. Ronald Bridgette.

Victor was also affectionately known as "VJ" or "Suave" to many. Victor attended LA Tiera Elementary, Orville Wright Middle School, and Daniel Murphy High School and was always an honor student. Victor continued his education at Howard University with an asperation to become a Fluerensic Pathologist. He also received an AA degree in Subtenance Abuse Counseling from Pomona College of California. Victor held a Certified Barber License and was the owner of Suave's Beauty and Barbershop in Lancaster California.

Victor was a man of many talents, with a passion for life, music and sports. He was an avid basketball, football, and baseball player, and played them all well. Victor was a forever LA LAKER fan.

Victor received an honorable discharge as a Veteran of the United States Air force branch and served during the Gulf War. He held the title of a Black Beret in the special forces unit.

Victor received his wings to fly home on July 10, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memories, five children, Victor DeVaugn, Nyela, Barbara Jean, Victor Lagrane, and Jeremiah. His mother Robbie Lenox, a brother Lagrane Lenox Jr, a sister Aiesha Lisa Perry, a niece Keyana Lenox, a nephew Lagrane Lenox III, his closest beloved cousin Lauraenna Cartier, an aunt Hollistiene Victoria Brock and a host of other cousins, and many friends.

Victor loved to have fun and was very outgoing. He was a kind and friendly guy with a great sense of humor. Victor was known as a domino lover and tagged as a dominologist. Victor also loved riding motorcycles and belonged to a motorcycle club in LA. He was a true friend to many.

Victor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious laughter. He was a light in the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
