Nelson Alvino Acevedo

"Nelson Alvino Acevedo, was born July 24th, 1951 in El Salvador, which always had a big place in his heart. He would always say that one day he would move back there, that never happened but he sure did not miss the opportunity to visit his beloved country as much as he could.

When he was not talking about visiting El Salvador, he loved to talk about food… cooking was his passion. Whether it was to talk about recipes of dishes he had made or recipes he had seen on tv or magazines, and of course he would say how he thought he could make it better.

Nelson is survived by his wife Estela and his four children Harold, Tanya, Nelson Jr., and Jazmine. On Dec. 19th, 2022, he sadly lost his health battles. He fought so hard the last few years to beat his illnesses, but his body was tired and could not keep fighting any longer. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those he made an impact on their lives. May he rest in peace."
