Jill R Brown

Jill Renee Brown was born on January 11, 1953, in Los Angeles,
California. She was the second born of two daughters to William E.
Brown and Ethel R. Brown who proceeded her in death.
She obtained her education from El Segundo Elementary,
Willowbrook Junior High and graduated from Centennial High School.
Jill worked for Scott Labs and Compton Unified School District as a
Cafeteria Worker for over 30 years from which she retired.
She loved to cook for her family and friend for special occasions.
Her specialty was Mexican and Soul Food.
She leaves to cherish in many precious memories, sister Wende
Brown, honorary sister Jennifer Brooks, her longtime partner Kenneth
Turner, Daughter Lakia Jones, two sons Fikiri Jones and Kavin Turner.
Four grandchildren LaSheaira, LaTeairra, LaKeaira Flowers, and Zaniya
Turner, an honorary grandchild Qadir Dean. Eight Great
Granddaughters Parah, Adaiah, Mayakal, Na’Ahyah, and Nalah Ponds,
Kaiser Morgan, Londynn Parker, and Cevyn Williams. Three Great
Grandsons Josiah Gutierrez, Moshae Perkins, and Sharyan Ponds and a
host of other family and friends.
