Francella Lucinda Daley Baker, 73, died unexpectedly on June 29, 2023, at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center-Torrence. She was born December 9, 1949, in the country of Panama. She is the daughter of Joseph Alexander Baker and Violeta McPherson Baker. Upon completing her education, she had four children: MaryLou Bellew, Michelle Daley, Richard Daley and Stephanie Daley. She was married to Richard Ferderico Daley, which ended in divorce.
Before moving to California, Francella attended a nursing program in Texas to qualify to work in nursing homes. Following the program, she worked at a nursing home as well as at K-Mart. K-Mart was her pride and joy. She really loved K-Mart! After moving to California to be near family, she worked at the senior center and later in merchandising.
She is preceded in death by her parents (Joseph and Violeta) and three siblings: Edmundo Baker, Dolores Harmon and Norma Orasia Beckles. She is survived by her four children (MaryLou, Michelle, Richard and Stephanie), her brother Arnoldo Baker and her sister Lorraine Ibanez. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
