Esther Baden Jacobs

JACOBS, ESTHER BADEN, age 101, died peacefully in her sleep on January
20, 2023. Esther was born on Sept. 29, 1921 in Roosevelt, OK and resided in
Los Angeles, CA for the past nine decades. Esther is preceded in death by her
father and mother, William and Esther Baden; her brothers, William and Julian
Baden; and her husband, Marvin Jacobs. She is survived by her sister, Marie
Shane; her daughter, Christine and her husband, Hank Webber and their
children, Robert and Hannah; her daughter, Marilyn and her children, Jonathan,
Thaddeus, Victor, Victoria, Michael, and Marylaila; her son, Dennis and his wife,
Thea Jacobs, and their children, Daniel, Katrina, and Gabriel; along with four
great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends. A
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on February 4 at St. Jerome Catholic Church,
5550 Thornburn Street, Los Angeles. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will
follow the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the Jacobs family asks that donations
be made in Esther’s name to the retirement home that expertly cared for Esther
over the past fourteen years – Hollenbeck Palms, 573 S. Boyle Ave., Los
Angeles, CA 90033.
