DENZEL J MARTINDALE

Denzel "Marty" Martindale born on April 13, 1932, in Oakley, Idaho as the twelfth of a total of 13 children born to Elva Workman Martindale and Henry Martindale. Marty married his high school sweetheart, Ruth Gardner on December 16, 1950. They were happily married for 63 years when she preceded him in death in 2013. He worked on the farm for his brother-in-law, Noah Oliver for many years before joining the United States Air Force. He served in the Korean War as an aircraft mechanic and was honorably discharged. Upon his discharge, he went to work for AiResearch Manufacturing Company for 35 years. After his retirement, he went to work for the County as a part-time proctor in 1999 before finally retiring in 2021 at the age of 88.

He leaves behind his son, Denny (Joni), daughter, Deanna, 5 grandchildren, Kristin (Richard), Gary (Lisa), Lindsay (Matt), Lisa (Jared), Derek, and 5 great-grandchildren (Avery, Carter, Micah, Nathan, and Madison).
