Catherine Mae Miles

Catherine Miles was born Friday September 17, 1937 in Phoenix, AZ to Catherine and Howard Johnson Sr. whom both preceded her in death. Catherine was the fourth child born to this union, which later totaled eleven (Johnny, Corine, James, Catherine, Kay, Gloria, Howard, Donnie, Bertrand, Violet, and lastly Ronald.

Her parents moved to California in 1941. Catherine attended John Muir Junior High and graduated from Manuel Arts High School where she met Wrenis S. Miles Sr., who she would soon marry. She matriculated to Los Angeles Trade Technical College and earned an Associate in Arts Degree.

She later was united in holy matrimony to Wrenis S. Miles Sr. To this union were born two sons; Wrenis Jr. and Anthony. Catherine's loving husband preceded her in death.

This loving mother and saint leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life two loving sons, Wrenis Jr. and Anthony; her brother, Donnie Johnson; her sister, Kay Johnson; her grandsons, Wrenis S. Miles IV and Sam Miles; her great grand children, Wrenye, Shemar, Wrenis S. Miles V, Syreeta, Kingston, Kiyono and Kai'Lyn; her latest addition, a great great grand daughter, Shayla and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
